Digital Video Broadcast (DVB)
DVB is the set of International Standards for Digital Video Broadcast. This primarily covers DVB-C for Cable, DVB-S for Satellite, DVB-T for Terrestrial. There are also an emerging set of standards for other forms of transmission (for example DMB Digital Media Broadcast) and related standards for the second generation of satellite and terrestrial standards, namely DVB-S2 and DVB-T2.
DTMB (previously known as DMB-T/H) is not a member of the DVB family, but it (as least Hong Kong's version) uses some feature, such as MPEG-TS, subtitle and EPG, from the DVB standards
