a SetTopBox manufactured in different versions by Nokia, Philips and Sagem. Used widely e.g. by the german PayTV service provider Premiere. Useful e.g. as Streaming client.
The Tuxbox-project has ported Linux to the dbox2 and provides an alternative software solution that has many interesting features and better performance than the original software stack provided by BetaResearch.
