Firmware

Firmware is available with the DVBWorld 2004D Linux driver at http://www.worlddvb.com/down/fw.rar (But what's with the proprietary RAR archive format? Geez...)

Drivers

Experimental support under Linux exists. Drivers for DVB-S and DVB-S2 (see also S2API) have now been merged into v4l-dvb and can be installed as described here[1].
