History

Founded in June 1989 as Crosstec Engineering AG.
Renamed to Micronas after takeover of Micronas Oy, Finland from Nokia in 1992.
Micronas acquired WISchip in October 2005 (which becomes Micronas USA ?) [1] [2]
Sold its consumer electronics division to Trident Microsystems, Inc. on the 1st April, 2009.[3] [4]
