Can anyone help me with this problem please.

I am using Kaffeine with Ubuntu Breezy Linux using an Avermedia DVB-T 761 card. When I scan for channels in Kaffeine from the UK-Mendip transmitter, all the channels are found with no problem. I can then watch all the programs with a perfect picture except for the main BBC channels on multiplex 1 which break up so bad that they stop altogether after about 10 seconds. The interesting thing is that I am using a machine with two hard drives, one running Windows XP and one running Linux Ubuntu Breezy. With Windows XP, my Avermedia DVB card works 100% with all programs showing perfectly. This makes me think that the problem must be with the Linux software, either a driver or codec problem, as all the hardware is identical in both cases. I am fairly new to Linux and would appreciate any help with this problem.
