Fujitsu Siemens Computers, founded in October 1999, was a joint venture between Fujitsu Limited of Japan and Siemens AG of Germany. The company was Headquartered in the Netherlands yet has several manufacturing and developing facilities in Germany, as well as one in the United States. Amongst other computer & IT related things, the company was also a DVB receiver vendor.

In November of 2008, Siemens announced that it was selling its stake to Fujitsu [1], with the expected termination of the joint venture to result in April 2009. Fujitsu, for its part, is expected to retreat from the retail computer market.
