Revision as of 07:11, 7 February 2007

A germany based DVB Card Vendor.

Despite their Mainframes, Ovens and Refrigerators they also built one of the first PCI DVB cards, the Fujitsu-Siemens DVB-C card which has been the mother of many later designs e.g. by Technotrend. This card contains an onboard MPEG2 Decoder, is able to receive both Analog TV and Digital TV transmissions and contains a Common Interface and is based on the SAA7146 and the VES1820.

Linux support exists since quite a long time. For a list of known issues follow SAA7146 and VES1820 link.
