DVB-C does not seem to be fully supported with Linux, especially QAM256 (Windows officially only supports DVB-T and T2), according to mailinglist DVB-T2 LNA(?) damages DVB-C signal.

PCTV nanoStick T2 with demodulator/controller PCB facing up

This is a DVB-T2 and DVB-C USB device by PCTV Systems.

It has experimental support since May 2011 in the media tree Git repository for v2.6.40.

Overview/Features

"Sandwich" style dual PCB. Top board contains EEPROM and NXP TDA18271 tuner. Bottom board has Sony CXD2820R DVB-T/T2/C demodulator and Empia em28174 controller.
