The HDHomeRun Prime is a triple tuner CableCard receiver for use with US Cable TV systems.

IT DOES NOT RECEIVE OVER THE AIR SIGNALS.

The HDPrime decodes encrypted cable channels (QAM256) The unit requires a CableCARD supplied by the cable provider. Some markets require (Cox & Time Warner Cable) an additional switched digital video (SDV) adapter [[[1]]] also supplied by the cable provider, which connects to a USB porton the HDPrime.
