There isn't a lot written about the Leadtek Gold - for example some of the details of the [[Leadtek WinFast DTV Dongle]] page seem to apply, e.g. the bug with endless key repeats on the IR remote control mentioned ("dvb-usb-dib0700-1.20.fw firmware file is now stable for reception, but remote control functionality is broken; any key press is repeated until the next key is pressed") applies to my Gold (usb 0413:6029) case under Ubuntu. When showing the /var/log/messages output to expect it may help to use colour to highlight parts that are significant, parts (like eeprom dumps) that might not appears, etc.
