Hi all
'''PVR500''' seems to cost the same at the 350 so my thinking is, will this become the defacto standard and if so is it supported in Mythtv?
I was looking at some ' media centers ' today all costing about £1000.00!
and '''none of them''' can record and play another channel.
I note that their blurb doesnt mention this.
Wonder how many people get this stuff home and then realise it's not like their
VHS.

Cheers
Bob

Could you please specify whether MythTv supports CAM or not ?

Thanks

I haven't tried it yet, but from the list of DVB Conditional Access Modules I would guess that since LinuxTV supports (some) CAMs, MythTV can use whatever LinuxTV provides. Perhaps the MythTV wiki http://mythtv.org/wiki/ would be a better place to ask. Could someone else who has actually tried it tell us? --DavidCary 21:51, 20 November 2006 (CET)
