Could you please specify whether MythTv supports CAM or not ?

I haven't tried it yet, but from the list of DVB Conditional Access Modules I would guess that since LinuxTV supports (some) CAMs, MythTV can use whatever LinuxTV provides. Perhaps the MythTV wiki http://mythtv.org/wiki/ would be a better place to ask. Could someone else who has actually tried it tell us? --DavidCary 21:51, 20 November 2006 (CET)

PVR500 seems to cost the same at the 350 so my thinking is, will this become the defacto standard and if so is it supported in Mythtv?
I was looking at some ' media centers ' today all costing about £1000.00!
and none of them can record and play another channel.
I note that their blurb doesnt mention this.
Wonder how many people get this stuff home and then realise it's not like their VHS.
