Despite bearing largely the same name, the '''SkyStar 1 CI''' device definitely differs from the [[TechniSat SkyStar 1|SkyStar 1]]. In fact, the "SkyStar 1" is a [[FF_Rev._1.5_DVB-S_Cards|"full-featured" Rev. 1.5 card]] whereas the '''SkyStar 1 CI''' is a software decoding card and, specifically, appears to be a clone of the [[Twinhan VP-1030A]].
