The Ion Video 2 PC has the device id [eb1a:5051]. The '''StarTech svid2usb23''' also uses the same device id.

They are currently not supported under Linux. They are not even detected without a patched kernel. Once the kernel is patched, it's possible to get sound and some picture. The device stops sending frames to the computer once it has synchronized the analog signal.

It uses three chips with the following names wrote on them:
* eMPIA EM2860
* eMPIA TECHNOLOGY EMP202
* 5150AM1

There is an older model of Ion Video 2 PC that used a TVMaster TM6010L chip.
