DVB/MPEG-2 TS over RTP

Can this tool work on "DVB-TS" too?
Since DVB modifies a little bit the MPEG-2 TS, I don't think this tool
is also DVB compliant. Isn't it?
Do you think it should be possible send directly the outgoing flow from
DVB cards to a stream server in order to redistribuite it over LAN? I
should need a socket between the card and the server, how can I do it?
