The Livid-Project (www.livid.org) is on the way to create an general
mpeg player. Some hardware accelaration is also started... and it may be
possible to playback avp (I'm not sure) but at least converting giving
mpeg to avp for hw playback. If not, it would be no problem to write an
avp-import codec ! :)
