Hi,

I did this EIT stuff.

It's hard to anticipate why it doesn't work for you. It does work with the
Hauppauge card, though, that's for sure.

I could assume three reasons that would make that stuff fail.

1. Your bit-device /dev/vbi is blocked by another process
2. You have an older version of the driver (I have only tested it with the
0.6 version)
3. You channels.conf does not list the appropriate Service-ID for the
channel you tuned in.

If you checked all this and it still doesn't work, let me know. I will send
you some tools I developed to analyze the EIT data stream and we then go
from there.
