I don't know how to do it, maybe you have to set an interface that could
collapse all requests in one or something like that.
I'm using under Windoz a new Provider (Italian) that allows very high speed
transfer: up to 1 Mbps. I'm studing how to get it work under Linux....
The provider name is Netsystem. You can find info at http://www.netsystem.com
which is in Italian language!
