If you want the dvb0 device you need to import it :
insmod dvb_net.o
ifconfig dvb0 192.168.4.1
Normally the Mac address is wrong, and if you try to change it using :
ifconfig dvb0 hw ether xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx
The only address you can have is a multicast one. By editing the dvb_net.c file,
you can tweak the filter 0 to load a mac address at start, but no way to set the
associated pid :(
If some guys are interesting in the network part of the project, I am ready to
start creating a patch for the 2.4.x kernel
