[linux-dvb] Scanning channels

Hello,

i have got the driver to work...!
An older Version (0.8) but it workes with my red hat system.
Now i want to know how to get the satelite scanned with diseq on several 
satelites (astra and eutelsat). 
The driver came with a very old version of channels (sep.00) for exsample.
How do i get the actual version of channels, how can i scan for channels?
How can i scan with several satelites?
Unfortunately there is no documentation, or i did not find anything answering 
my questions. 
Unfortunately i can not use Version 0.9 of the driver because of i have not 
installed a kernel Version 2.4.xx.
No informations in any readme.file!
Try and error!
Is there a way to get radio stations to work?
Is there a way to get Videotext work?
Sorry, i tried to get informations, but i did not find any....!!!??
The documentation of the Siemens driver is very poor!
