[linux-dvb] How to activate 16:9 output with 0.8.2 driver

Hi,

I tried to activate 16:9 output from VDR with the VIDIOCSASPECTRATIO and
parameter MONITOR_16_9 during initialization of the DVB cards. But it
didn't work. Broadcasts that were definitely 16:9 were still shown in
letterbox format. 
Does this ioctl work at all?
When do I have to issue this ioctl?
During initialization, after switching channel, after starting replay,
...?
