Problem, I do not know yet if it works with LIRC.

The remote control works very well with LIRC and it has got exactly the
number of keys you need for VDR ;-) I took the sample configuration file
from the LIRC homepage and just renamed the keys. I haven't tried to use the
IR receiver on the Hauppauge *card* yet.
