I may have explanation. But i could not verify this, because i own the new
hauppauge card
and dont have a Formatdescribtion of the Videofileformat.

I think that the Index-File which would be generated by the new driver + vdr
Versions
are not poiting exactly at the beginning of an I-Frame.
An I-Frame Pointer points a little bit befor an I-Frame. The Old driver +
vdr can handle this problem by going itself to the beginning of the I-Frame.
But the new driver + vdr cant do this and so the objects are not moving as
smooth as they should be.

May you can verify this ?
