I tried the latest CVS-Version of the driver yesterday (new card model)
an got the same errors as with the older CVS versions (throughout april, 
may).
When I try 'make insmod' an outcommand error occurs and the driver tries
to restart ... neverending loop. I also tried the old firmware, no 
success...
Last stable (almost without zapping)version for me is the tar-archive from 
april, 07.

So, since Ralph hasn't got a 'new' card, we should take a look at the code 
ourselves ... I don't know where to begin, but with these problems my 
personal vdr doesn't make much fun ;)

P.S.: What are the differences between the linux-firmware for the dvbs-card 
and the various windows-versions???
