[linux-dvb] Strange happenings to MAC address and dvbd

i dont know if any of you guys noticed, but dvbd changes the MAC addres of the 
SAT card
before starting dvbd
May 24 01:33:17 net kernel: dvb: MAC = 00 d0 5c 3d 0c 76
dvb0      Link encap:Ethernet  HWaddr 00:D0:5C:3D:0C:76
after starting dvbd
dvb0      Link encap:Ethernet  HWaddr 00:02:C3:16:06:9A

is this normal????
