Hi,

once again (hopefully the last time):

The piece of software, H.Berlioz presented on his page does not deal IN ANY
WAY with software decryption of SECA encrypted channels !!! It deals with the
transport of ECM/EMM messages to a smartcard. The decryption of the keys
(delivered by the ECM/EMM stream) is done by the SMARTCARD, the decryption of
the DVB stream itself is intended to be performed by the DVB descrambler,
built-in to the TI chip on the DVB card. All of this is perfectly legal and
the way it has to be done anyway !!!
The only thing this code could be useful, is the control of smart-card
readers, which are not (or cannot be) directly attached to the DVB card.
BTW the whole software is useless (for other things than learning), as there
are no API calls in the DVB driver to support direct control of the
descrambler.
I hope this clarifies things a bit.

Regards,

Rolf
