[linux-dvb] Re: problems with dmxSctFilterParams and NEWSTRUCT



I will see what I can do.  The easiest thing I would suggest is to start
an unmodified vdr and wait.  Then comment the AddFilter directives and
restart.  You will find that when the EPG processing is running the box
can lock up.

I only saw it once with the other program, but I cannot give it to
you.  Make sure the satellite you try it on has a heavily populated
EPG.  It's probably related to somebody was saying the EIT processing was
causing spotty picture.

I can pretty reliably reproduce it by having vdr just sit on a channel for
20 or so minutes.  The more populated the bird, the faster the lockup.
