[linux-dvb] Sync problem, Hamburg has DVB-T

Hi,
I finally got my nova-t working.
The .tzap config for Hamburg, germany is:
ARD:762000000:INVERSION_OFF:BANDWIDTH_8_MHZ:FEC_2_3:FEC_NONE:QAM_16:TRANSMISSION_MODE_8K:GUARD_INTERVAL_1_8:HIERARCHY_NONE:512:650
ZDF:762000000:INVERSION_OFF:BANDWIDTH_8_MHZ:FEC_2_3:FEC_NONE:QAM_16:TRANSMISSION_MODE_8K:GUARD_INTERVAL_1_8:HIERARCHY_NONE:513:651
NDR:762000000:INVERSION_OFF:BANDWIDTH_8_MHZ:FEC_2_3:FEC_NONE:QAM_16:TRANSMISSION_MODE_8K:GUARD_INTERVAL_1_8:HIERARCHY_NONE:514:652
unfortunatly these are all channels right now. Start will be in summer 2003
:-( Maybe they will change the GuardInterval to 1_4 for the "Regelbetrieb".

But now I got a different problem. When i watch TV with:
dvbstream 513 651 -o| ts2ps 513 651 | mplayer -cache 4086 -
I got a sound delay of 200-900ms. I think I found the problem in the Bitrate
detection of ts2ps. It doesn't seem to work correct in all situations. I
found this, while I started this closely after each other. Is there any known
issue with this? Or can the audiostream be VBR?
How could I determine the real audiorate?

Yuppi:/home/yuppi # dvbstream 513 651 -o| ts2ps 513 651 >/dev/null
dvbstream v0.4pre1 - (C) Dave Chapman 2001
ts2ps
Videostream: ASPECT: 4:3 Size = 704x576 FRate: 25 fps BRate: 10.00 Mbit/s
Audiostream: Layer: 1 BRate: 448 kb/s Freq: 48.0 kHz
Caught signal 2 - closing cleanly.

Yuppi:/home/yuppi # dvbstream 513 651 -o| ts2ps 513 651 >/dev/null
ts2ps
Videostream: ASPECT: 4:3 Size = 704x576 FRate: 25 fps BRate: 10.00 Mbit/s
Audiostream: Layer: 1 BRate: 96 kb/s Freq: 48.0 kHz
Caught signal 2 - closing cleanly.

Kind regards,
Karsten
