I have a Dektec DTA-122 and it's the dog testicles as far as quality
build goes. My stream is 33mbit/s and it handles it no problem (even
has an 8MB buffer in case your computer throws a slight fit).
They only have a Windows API (which is amazing too, I wrote my own
grabber within 10 mins, having never wrote a win32 console program
before). Linux drivers are supposed to be out before the New Year as
well, and if the Windows API is anything to go by there should be a lot
of functionality.
I opted for this route even though it was more expensive, mainly because
it was hard enough making the TTL->LVDS convertor - so I didn't want to
go hacking some other board.
Andy.
