I agree RedHat is a broken distribution. Sorry for that Chap, but you don't 
need to use the words "fucked-up". Meanwhile, I am considering installing DVB 
under Debian. Does Debian provide a DVB binary package, Alsa sound, KDE 3.1, 
etc...

You may be right after all.
