You should try the Elecard UDP streaming application. It can decode
multicast from the vdr streaming plugin. Just install this:
http://www.moonlight.co.il/download/UDP.zip

And open the url: moonlight://224.0.1.2:5002/rtp in media player after
starting the vdr plugin.

I think it candecode unicast also, but I haven't tried that yet..
