[linux-dvb] Avermedia DVB-T Card Experience?

Avermedia seem to have just released a DVB-T card:

http://www.averm.co.uk/products/DVBT.html

Has anyone had any experience with this card and can provide detailed
specs, as the website is very light on detail?

Of particular relevance is whether the Windows (or Linux) software
permits setting channel spacing and other parameters for compatability
with non-European broadcast regimes (especially Australia's 7MHz DVB-T
configuration).

I notice in the manual, when running a channel scan, it says to choose
the name of your country (or a country with the same TV system as yours)
in the Windows dialogue box. This gives me hope that the software
indeed allows setting parameters to suit international DVB
implementations.

Any further information on recording format (eg TS, PS, AVPES, etc),
file segmentation capabilities and utilities available to convert
between formats, provided with this card would also be much appreciated.

We are desperately in need of PC DVB-T products in Australia and, as
usually is the case, suitable equipment is often released in the UK
first and then in Australia after some delay. The lack of availability
of online retailers prepared to ship to Australia is also a bone of
contention when products make their debut in the UK and are available,
but can't be imported to here.

Anyway, thanks in advance for any information.

Ian
