This sounds like a similar problem I am having at the moment, having
recently switched from the old DVB drivers to the new dvb-kernel driver. I
too get lots of corruption using the new drivers.

Have you tried the older DVB driver with your Grundig card?

Interesting, you say you get corruption on all but one mux form Crystal
Palace. Which is the mux that doesn't give you a problem? Is this mux ok for
all channels on that mux?
