[linux-dvb] Help

Hi,
         I'm having a Galaxis DVB card on a RH9 system. As i have seen
from the lists, I understood that the drivers don't compile with
2.4.20-8 stock kernel. Therefore I downloaded kernel 2.4.20 compiled and
rebooted. The driver compile went fine. Drivers loaded perfectly, but if
I run szap, I get a message, cannot open /dev/dvb/adapter0/video0 open
failed.
         Is my hardware not getting detected ? what i understand is the
tuner says alps bsrv2 and i find a module in the driver also, the SAA
7146 also I can find and I have seen someplace that the drivers support
the Galaxis card. 

            Could somebody help me out on this please. Would be really nice.
