Robert, in the su1278 docs I have, it recommends setting register 0x02 (MCR) 
to 0x00. However in the STV0299B docs, it says bits 4 & 5 MUST be set to 1.

Which did you use in your windows driver? (the linux one uses 0x30 for the 
SU1278SH currently)
