[linux-dvb] starting driver modules with parameters?

Hello,

I just heard about the possibility to start the modules of the driver with
parameters to get e.g. the IF or AFC.

How can this be done together with DVB/VDR/runvdr?

I only found the possibility to write something like
insmod ves1820.o ifreq=36104534
with a patch from andreas kool.

Does anyone know how to to this?

p.s.: I only know how to start the driver via make insmod.
