I have absolutely no switching problems using dvb-kernel with a 2.4
kernel (FF 1.5 and SS2 2.6B).

But: I see another problem for vdr users:
the dvb-kernel/build-2.4 needs quite recent 2.4. kernels, I don't re-
member which version; the old DVB branch will have less (no?) problems
with older 2.4.xx kernels.

I vote for getting rid of the DVB branch, I just wanted point out one
possible problem.
