Can you do me a favour? Can you send me the following:

uname -a
dmesg
lsmod

Can you also capture a 'scantv'? Just so I can see what one that works
should look like?

I'm getting the followin from tzap :
using '/dev/dvb/adapter0/frontend0' and '/dev/dvb/adapter0/demux0'
tuning to 505833333 Hz
video pid 0x0262, audio pid 0x0263
status 01 | signal 005e | snr 8000 | ber 00003fff | unc 00000000 |
status 01 | signal 005d | snr 8000 | ber 00003fff | unc 00000000 |
status 01 | signal 0060 | snr 8000 | ber 00003fff | unc 00000000 |

and from scantv :
[global]
freqtab = europe-west

[defaults]
input = Television
norm = PAL-I

invalid value for input: television
valid choices for "input": "DVB"

scanning channel list europe-west...
E2   ( 48.25 MHz): no station
E3   ( 55.25 MHz): no station
E4   ( 62.25 MHz): no station
S01  ( 69.25 MHz): no station
S02  ( 76.25 MHz): no station

Thanks HEAPS!!
