A P166 MMX with 32 MB Ram is fast enough to do one recording and replay DVD
at the same time.
(S)VCD is MPEG1/2 and completely handled by the DVB-S.
But MPEG4/DivX needs about 700/800 MHz to transcode to MPEG1 on the fly ...
