[vdr] VDR with analog tv-card

Hi,

because I didn't even find a promising answer in the list archive I will
ask this question, although I think it is a FAQ:

Is it possible to use VDR with an analog TV-card that is supported by a
v4l2 driver? Is there more to do than just to install VDR an do some
little configuration stuff?

I am just looking for a program like VDR for my analog card so that I
can manage to watch TV and manage recording of TV just from my couch ...
