[vdr] Re: master-timer and 1.2.5
Same probleme here. For me it started also with 1.2.1. With 1.1.30 it
worked perfect.
Interims solution is to toggle UseLST within the config file from 1 to
0. The effect ist that master-timer tries to read the epg data directly
from the disc and not trough the svdrp funtionality. Master-timer needs
a symlink to epg.data within the config directory (normaly
/root/.master-timer) for that.
That works more or less. The problem within my enviroment ist that the
perlscript of master-timer doesnt "recognizes" when there where changes
in the epg.data file.
I switched of the testing of that within master-timer. But with no real
effect. It seems for me that run-mt.pl started within a cron job "sees"
another state of the epg.data as I would if I start it from command
line.
A manual touch epg.data; run-mt.pl leads to the espected results and
adds the appropriate timers.
But currently I am not able to rely on master-timer. Thats absolutely
sh*t, because it is so a great feature and I need it realy.
So for the first who solves this problem I would donate a candle in the
church on next sunday ;-)).
