I just saw something VERY intersting in your post:

How are you seperating RGB and SPDIF??? If you just connect a
wire (flopsy description) to SPDIF w/o any adapter PCB,  which
MUST provide shielding all around the SPDIF run, you will MOST
certainly get a bad RGB picture. That's another one of the flaws of
the Technotrend design. It's an absolute CRAZY idea to place the
SPDIF on the same connector as video. Technotrend should have
made an extra jumper block soley for SPDIF.
