For some reason, the deleted recordings do not seem to disappear from
the disc any more.  They disappear from the recordings-list though,
and the directories are changed to

2004-05-30.12:05.40.14.del

but the actual removal does not happen...

I wonder if the following vdr output is related to this problem

can't create pidfile!: No such file or directory
