if a driver can't support it, it would have to return EBUSY in my case, stateless encoders, the framerate is never used by the HW itself, this information is only relevant when producing the SEI/VUI and in the bitrate control algorithm which reminds me I need to move away from framerate and use accumulate frame duration for rate control, will work better for rtp (or make it timestamp based, not sure what is the easiest) | [12:30] |
