| alien_lappy | hey, i'm trying 6.7 with my patches on my rpi4B, but i only got black screen; so i'm now trying 6.7 without any changes (media_stage) and I still get black screen; I found this in my logs:
rpimedia kernel: simple-framebuffer 0.framebuffer: simplefb: cannot reserve video memory at [mem 0x00000000-0xffffffffffffffff] rpimedia kernel: simple-framebuffer: probe of 0.framebuffer failed with error -12 i didn't see this in the 6.1 i had before does anyone know something about this? in the config.txt i did have "gpu 128" for video mem, so, for an fb, that should be enough? does the rpi4 have a specific db driver i should use instead? | alien_lappy | uajain: so, if I boot media_stage, the vchiq module loads, but i donno how to test it; if i boot my patches on it, i get a -22 which iinm is no memory? i'm compiling now with more debug, but i think i'll have to base myself on your last tree, cause the code patches are kinda linked to the -isp and vc-sm- thing, in relation to the zero-copy
