Subj , help somebody!
first:
I wrote "frequency 11275000" in /etc/dvbd.conf , but when I run dvbd
it says
freq=675000000 !?!?! is this normal? I found formula in dvbd.c to
calculate real freq and calculate it in reverse in the way that
freq=11275000 , but sync remains 0 :(
second:
what means polarization ? 0 is Horizontal or Vertical?
what is ttk, AFC and other keywords?
where to read about this all?
third (may be the most important)
It looks like somehow I broke my card when played with new drivers
(0.6 I mean)
May be it just coincidence ,but after insmod, dvbd, rmmod, changes in
/etc/dvbd.conf , and over again ~20 times kernel go panic and freeze ,
after restart, insmod , kernel says "loop irq 9 .... 21" (or something
like that) all the time until rmmod. BIOS don't mention it any more as
MULTIMEDIA DEVICE. Win98 detect it and trying to set up drivers , but
after starting any app for SkyStar , 'dvb server' complains that MAC
address CRC failed and askes me to enter valid MAC!
Something bad occured with card!!! 8-(
Any advice how to reanimate it? Is this my fault or something wrong with
hardware?
Can I overwrite something important in card with such result?
PS:
Lucky for me I have spare card to play with for a while and I worry
about this is the last one.
My card warranty not expired yet , but if I return with another card
with same problem , my card reseller may become a little suspicious.
