good pes_av to mpeg2 conversion utility

It would appear that (unlike the technotrend flawed pva2mpeg2) these guys 
got it right:

pavtool 0.03 generates correct audio and video streams that can then be 
remuxed and used without errors. I think they should't have a problem with 
getting their code public for linux.
Maybe someone with better coding skills than me should contact them...
