AMD and SiS. But I don't know if they work better.

I never had such a problem with VDR. I also sometimes have seen ARM
resets, but the system always recovered without rebooting it.

Aston 1.03 is certainly the best, but as I wrote it crashes sometimes,
too. To improve the situation you should avoid any heavy zapping,
especially between non-encrypted and encrypted channels (turn off EIT
scanner in VDR). Group your channel list so that all the encrypted
channels and non-encrypted channels are in a sequence each.
Please notice that this is no first hand experience as I don't have such
a CAM. But all this was mentioned by many users in a lot of satellite
boards.

I really don't know. I haven't looked into all this chipset issues yet.
Please keep in mind that this problem is not only with AGP graphic
cards, I have the same problem with an old PCI MACH64 card, too.
Currently looking into this isn't my highest priority, because I only
use composite/s-video output of the cards. May be we should post
something into a forum specialized on linux hardware.
