Theoretically this should be possible:
- start recording of Y at the second card before stopping it at
the primary:
2th XXXXYYYYYYYY
1st YYYY
- after this you have the same frames in both streams for some
seconds
- with post processing (like cutting) you can remove the frames that are
duplicated (use the PTS to determine what packets ar duplicated)
Btw. this feature was already discussed here some month ago.
