[linux-dvb] vdr emergency exit and samba connection gets lost

I think I have a similar problem.
When I enable the EPG-scanner the system will lock up completely
in the next 2-3 hours. 
console tty10 shows something about "Oops. Kernel panic" :-(

my last message before restart is always "channel x not sync'ed"

my config
suse 7.0 kernel 2.4.6
lirc 0.6.3
1x DVB-s
1x Nova <- this card do the EPG scan
dvb 0.9 cvs ~ 2 weeks old
vdr 0.90
AMD-K6-2 366 Mhz
