[linux-dvb] problem with mplayer

Hello!
I'm new to this list so please excuse any silly questions :-)

I've bought a WinTV-Nova card and I'd like to watch some TV-program
but my mplayer crashes after abt 1min with this error:

My command line looks like this : 

/install/DVB/apps/mpegtools/ts2ps /dev/ost/dvr 0 0 | mplayer -


Does anybody have a hint ? 
Are there alternative MPEG decoders  (instead of mplayer)
